Higgins, Eda Lou, 68 of Mullica Hill, NJ died Saturday, September 10, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

Football (We Are!) and Golf (where she had a soft spot for Phil Mickelson).  She was an avid bird watcher who made sure her birds were fed and happy year round for her grandkids to see.  Eda Lou enjoyed many glasses of wine by the fire and sharing late summer sunsets with her family in the backyard.  Eda Lou was an active member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church and loved singing in the choir.

Eda Lou was the loving mother of three sons, Matthew (Andrea), Mark (Noelle) and Andrew Bramblett.  She was the adored grandmother to Tyler, Austin, Addison and Owen.

A memorial service will be held at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 51 N. Main St., Mullica Hill, NJ 08062 on Friday September 16th, at 11:00am followed by a luncheon at Terra Nova in Sewell, NJ.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Stephen’s Musical Ministry (care of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church) in Eda Lou’s name.

It is true that there are people that come into your life to enrich your life experiences. This is definitely true of Eda Lou! Although I only knew her for a "moment" in time, she has made a lasting impression with her passion and love of life and her career! Thank you Eda Lou!

Sassy lady!

September 13, 2016

I have known Eda Lou for several years as a member of St. STephen's. She always had a smile .  I loved talking to her ....I loved her sass!  I got to know her well this year when I joined our choir .  We were tenors together , she taught me the tricks and made me feel right at home.

She will be greatly missed.  I hope you find peace in your memories of your mother.

God Bless

Rachel Rowe
